Almost a week ago many of the country’s stargazers, astrophotographers and nature enthusiast took to Lebanon’s highest peaks to catch the much anticipated Perseids meteor shower.
As an avid supporter of all movements that highlight the wondrous beauties in the country and in light of the appalling environmental massacres taking place, I thought I would compile the amazing photos that came as a result.

Here’s a reminder of what we are fighting for; as environmentalists, conscious citizens or simply as people who love a good, view –sans garbage.
